BMA Dog Park Bangkok: Best Pet-Friendly Spot in Lumpini & Benjakitti?

As a dog owner, finding a truly pet-friendly space while traveling is not always easy. But in Bangkok, I found something refreshing: BMA Dog Park, located inside Lumpini Park and Benjakitti Park. Both parks offer designated spaces where dogs can actually run free, socialize, and just be dogs — not just leashed companions on sidewalks. Why I Like This Place The atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming. Early mornings and late afternoons are the best time — cooler weather, friendly local dog owners, and a good mix of small and large breeds. There’s a sense of community here. People don’t just bring their pets to exercise; they stay, talk, and connect. Lumpini vs Benjakitti – Which One is Better? Lumpini Park Dog Zone • More central location • Shaded areas with mature trees • Feels more classic and green Benjakitti Park Dog Zone • More modern park layout • Cleaner open space • Great sunset atmosphere Personally, I enjoy Benjakitti for sunset walks, but Lumpini feels more established and social. Things to Know Before You Go • Dogs must be registered (local rules apply) • Vaccination records may be required • Keep the area clean (very important) • Best time: 6–9 AM or after 5 PM It’s organized, but still relaxed which I appreciate. Let’s Discuss For those who’ve been here: • Which park do you prefer Lumpini or Benjakitti? • Is this the best pet-friendly spot in Bangkok? • Any other pet-friendly destinations in Southeast Asia worth visiting? I’m planning more pet-friendly trips, so I’d love recommendations. Let’s talk 🐾
