A Hidden Waterfall Escape in Bantul
Grojogan Lepo, also known as Ledok Pokoh, is one of Bantul's most refreshing hidden gems. With its three-tiered waterfall, deep natural pools, and lush surroundings, it offers the perfect setting for a day of swimming, cliff jumping, and simply enjoying nature.
My Experience at Grojogan Lepo
What I loved most was how natural and untouched it felt. The water was cool, clear, and incredibly inviting. Jumping into the deep pool from the rocks was both thrilling and refreshing. It was the kind of place that instantly made me forget about the city.

Have you tried jumping from the higher levels at Grojogan Lepo, or did you prefer simply swimming in the natural pools? I'm also curious how challenging is the trek to reach the waterfall, especially for first-time visitors?
@Eduardo Saverin I did try one of the higher jumping spots, but only after watching locals and making sure the water depth was safe. It was definitely an adrenaline rush! 😄
As for the trek, it's relatively short and manageable for most first-time visitors. The path can be a bit steep and slippery in some sections, especially after rain, so wearing proper footwear is a good idea. Once you reach the waterfall, though, the refreshing pools make the walk completely worth it. 💦🌿🏞️
