I highly recommend Tsukiji Outer Market. Even though the inner fish market has moved, the outer market is still one of the best places to enjoy fresh Japanese street food. Try grilled scallops, tamagoyaki, tuna skewers, and fresh sushi. Most snacks cost around ¥300–¥1,000, so it's easy to try several dishes. Visit before 10:00 AM to avoid the biggest crowds and enjoy the freshest food.

@halil_ibrahim_koc Thanks for the recommendation! Tsukiji Outer Market is definitely going on my list. The grilled scallops and tamagoyaki sound amazing. I'll make sure to visit early in the morning.

If you're looking for a more local atmosphere, head to Ameya-Yokocho (Ameyoko) in Ueno. The market is full of affordable food stalls selling yakitori, takoyaki, karaage, and Japanese sweets. Prices are reasonable, usually between ¥200–¥700 per item. It's a lively place where you can enjoy authentic street food while exploring local shops.

@firman_330 That sounds exactly like what I'm looking for! I love exploring local markets, and the affordable prices are a bonus. I'll definitely add Ameyoko to my Tokyo itinerary. Thanks for sharing!
