I recommend visiting Rainbow Hills Rumbai! It’s a beautiful hidden spot with colorful landscapes, and the best part is it’s very budget-friendly. You only need to prepare around IDR 5,000–10,000 for parking. Sunset is the best time to visit.

@firman_330 Thanks for the recommendation! A beautiful place with a low budget sounds perfect for backpackers. I’ll definitely add Rainbow Hills Rumbai to my Pekanbaru list. šŸŒ…

You should explore local food spots in Pekanbaru. Many small restaurants offer authentic Riau and Malay dishes with prices around IDR 20,000–50,000 per meal. It’s a great way to experience the local culture.

@ida_rt That’s a great tip! Trying local food is always one of my favorite parts of traveling. Affordable and authentic food makes the journey even more memorable. šŸœ

For a nature escape, check out hidden green areas around Rumbai. Transportation by motorcycle is a good option, with fuel costs around IDR 10,000–20,000 depending on your starting point. Most nature spots are free or have small entrance fees.
