I’m planning a backpacking trip to Ubud and found Goutama Homestay, located on Jl. Gootama in the heart of Ubud. It looks like a budget-friendly place with a traditional homestay atmosphere, while still offering hotel-style comfort.
I’m thinking of staying here as part of my itinerary because the central location could make it easier to explore Ubud on foot and experience the local area.

I stayed there before! The location is really convenient, especially if you want to explore central Ubud without spending too much on transport.

Gootama Street is one of my favorite areas in Ubud. Lots of cafés, local food, and small shops nearby.

If you’re staying there, try exploring early in the morning. Ubud feels much quieter before the crowds arrive.
