Snorkeling Escape at Ricketts Point: Let’s Explore Melbourne’s Quiet Underwater World
About this Meetup
I’m planning to spend a slow day at Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary in Black Rock, one of the best snorkeling spots around Melbourne. The shallow rocky beach, clear water, and marine sanctuary make it perfect for seeing fish, sea stars, and all the small underwater life that hides near the reef. I’ve been wanting to go somewhere that feels peaceful but still full of discovery. Just floating in the water, watching what moves beneath the surface, and forgetting the city for a while. It’s also family-friendly, so the vibe is usually relaxed and easy. If anyone happens to be around Black Rock that day, feel free to join. We can snorkel together, explore the shoreline, take some photos, and just enjoy the sea without rushing. Sometimes the best trips are the ones you don’t plan too much. Bring your snorkel gear, water, and good energy. Would be fun to meet fellow travelers and share the experience together.
