Painting Alebrijes in Mexico City: A Colorful Handicraft Workshop Meetup

I’m planning to join a hands-on Alebrije painting workshop in Mexico City, where we’ll learn to paint traditional wooden or papier-mâché (cartonería) figures with vibrant colors alongside local artisans. It’s not just about painting, but understanding the meaning behind each pattern, shape, and color. Expect a relaxed, creative atmosphere where we can take our time, experiment, and maybe even create something uniquely ours. I’ll probably choose a session in the afternoon so we can enjoy the process without rushing. We can meet directly at the workshop location (exact spot to be shared once confirmed).
