Remote Work in Lima: Discovering Peru Through Local Food

Working remotely in Lima gave me the chance to experience Peru beyond the usual tourist spots. What I enjoyed most was exploring the local food scene between work sessions from **ceviche and lomo saltado to anticuchos and causa**. I’d love to hear from other travelers and locals: **What Peruvian food should I absolutely try while staying in Lima Province?** Any favorite local markets, affordable restaurants, or authentic food experiences you’d recommend? If you're also working remotely in Lima, feel free to share your **favorite work-friendly spots and practical food tips**!

I’d definitely recommend trying ceviche at a local seafood spot. Fresh fish, lime, and that little kick of ají make it such a memorable Peruvian experience. Any recommendations for a good place in Lima?

@danielcooper Absolutely! Ceviche is high on my list too. I’d suggest asking locals for their favorite cevichería rather than only choosing touristy places. Freshness is key, especially for seafood.

If you’re working remotely, don’t miss trying lomo saltado during your lunch break! It’s filling, flavorful, and perfect after a few hours of work. I’d love to know which local dishes are easy to find around Lima.

@dev_sadhil Great tip! Lomo saltado sounds perfect for a workday lunch. I’d also like to try causa and anticuchos while exploring Lima’s local food scene.
