I visited Otago a while ago and the little blue penguins were such a highlight! The coastal scenery around dusk was beautiful too. Definitely bring a warm jacket because it can get chilly.

For anyone planning to go, I’d recommend being patient and keeping a respectful distance from the penguins. Watching them return from the ocean in the evening was such a peaceful experience.
