Budget Travel Tips: How Much Should I Prepare for a Daily Diving Trip?

I’m planning a daily diving trip and I’m curious about the budget needed for a comfortable diving experience. Besides the dive package, what other costs should I prepare for, such as equipment rental, transportation, meals, or additional fees? For those who have experience with Divection, which offers equipment rental, certified diving courses, and daily diving trips, I would love to hear your thoughts. How much did you usually spend for a one-day diving trip, and do you have any budget tips for beginner divers or backpackers? Let’s share our experiences and help each other plan a better diving adventure! 😊

I usually prepare extra budget for diving trips because unexpected costs can happen, like transportation, snacks, or additional equipment. For beginners, renting equipment is often more practical than buying everything.

@danielcooper That’s a great point! I agree that renting equipment is a better option for travelers who only dive occasionally. Planning some extra budget also makes the trip more comfortable and stress-free.

I joined a daily diving trip before, and the biggest expenses were usually the dive package and transportation to the dive location. Choosing a local dive operator with good reviews can help save money while keeping the experience safe.

@phamhuanglong Thanks for sharing your experience! Finding a trusted local operator is definitely important, especially for safety. It’s helpful to compare packages and check what is included before booking.
