Finding Serenity at Temple of Heaven (Tiantan) – A Cultural & Spiritual Walk

I’m planning to visit the Temple of Heaven (Tiantan) in Beijing, not just as a tourist, but as a traveler seeking understanding and reflection.

As a Muslim woman, I see this visit as an educational and cultural experience learning about how ancient Chinese emperors once prayed for good harvests and harmony between heaven and earth. I find it beautiful how different civilizations express devotion and gratitude in their own ways.

I’d love to explore the peaceful park area, observe the stunning Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, and take time to reflect quietly on the universal human desire to connect with the Divine.
