Sapporo, Japan: Finding Quiet Moments in a Winter Wonderland

There was something almost magical about arriving in Sapporo during winter. The city looked completely different beneath layers of soft white snow. Streets were quiet in the early morning, warm lights spilled from small restaurants, and every breath disappeared into the cold air.
